Do merge tags work in manually added emails?

Currently, merge tags do not function in manually added emails. This means that dynamic personalization (like automatically pulling in a customer's name or order ID) isn't available for these specific messages just yet.

Current Workaround

While we build out this feature, we recommend the following approach to keep your outbound flows running smoothly:

• Go Generic: Use non-personalized, "catch-all" content for any emails you add manually.

• Instead of using a tag like , stick to friendly, general greetings like "Hi there!" or "Hello!"
