FAQ: Outcraft AI MCP and reporting
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Use the Outcraft API and webhooks to get reports and to start automations. You can use them with the AI agent of your choice, for example your own Claude, ChatGPT, or n8n agent. This FAQ shows what the API can do today and what it cannot do.
Link: API documentation: https://developers.outcraft.ai/docs. You can also open the documentation in the app. Open the user menu, then select API Documentation.
Is there an Outcraft MCP server that I can connect to Claude?
No. Outcraft does not offer an MCP server to customers today. Use the Outcraft API and webhooks instead. Give your agent an API key and let it call the API endpoints.
How do I create an API key?
Open the user menu in the app.
Select API. The API Keys page opens.
Click Create New Key.
Enter a name and confirm.
Click View on the new key row to copy the key.
You can have 10 keys at the most. Keep each key secret. Do not put a key in client-side code.
Can I make a read-only API key?
No. A key has no scope or permission setting. Each key can use all the endpoints, including the cancel endpoint. A key can only access the data of the user who owns the key.
Warning: Do not give a key to an agent that must not cancel campaigns. Delete the key if you must stop its access.
How do I send a request?
Use the base URL https://app.outcraft.ai/api/v2. Add the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. The limit is 1000 requests each minute. When you exceed the limit, the API returns 429 Too Many Requests.
List endpoints use the query parameters page and per_page. The default is 25 items. The maximum is 100. The response contains data, links, and meta.
Which endpoints help with reporting?
The API calls a campaign run a lead campaign.
GET /leads: Lists your leads. Filter withstatuses[],email, orphone. It showsstateand contact fields. It does not show lead context.GET /leads/{leadId}/lead-campaigns: Lists the campaigns of one lead. Filter withstatuses[].GET /lead-campaigns/{leadCampaignId}: Shows one lead campaign. It includesstatus, outcomes, interactions, andqualification_details.POST /lead-campaigns/{leadCampaignId}/cancel: Stops a running lead campaign. A repeated request is safe.
No endpoint lists all lead campaigns of your account. No endpoint lists your campaigns. To report on a campaign, get the leads first and then get the lead campaigns of each lead.
Can I get revenue or conversion totals from the API?
No. No endpoint returns revenue, conversions, or dashboard data. The responses show status, first_reply_outcome, and follow_up_outcome. For revenue, use the Conversions page in the app.
Do the lead-campaign responses show campaign tags?
No. The campaign object shows only id, name, objective, and is_archived. Tags are not in the response.
How do I get notified when a lead campaign ends?
Use a webhook. Outcraft has two events: lead.campaign.completed and lead.campaign.cancelled. There is no event for the end of one call.
Open the user menu and select Webhooks.
Open the Endpoints tab and click Create.
Select an Event and enter the URL.
Turn on Is Enabled. A new endpoint is off.
Outcraft sends a POST request with the fields id, event, created_at, and data. The data object contains lead_campaign_id, lead_id, status, and ended_at. The completed event adds outcome. The cancelled event adds reason.
Your endpoint must return a 2xx response in 5 seconds. Outcraft makes up to 5 attempts. The retries come after 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, and 1 week. Outcraft turns off an endpoint after 10 401 responses in 1 hour or after 20 404 responses. To see each delivery, open the Deliveries tab.
Warning: Outcraft does not send a signature header with webhooks today. Use a URL that others cannot guess.
How do I get call transcripts?
Use GET /lead-campaigns/{leadCampaignId}. Each item in interactions has channel, direction, status, summary, occurred_at, and content. For a call, content is the transcript text. The API does not return a link to the audio recording.
How do I build a daily report or dashboard with my own agent?
Call
GET /leadsand read all the pages. For each lead, call
GET /leads/{leadId}/lead-campaigns.Call
GET /lead-campaigns/{leadCampaignId}for the details that you need.Write the rows to your spreadsheet or dashboard.
To save requests, use webhooks to find the lead campaigns that ended. Then get only those lead campaigns.
