General Settings: Follow-ups, Sendable Links & Hand-offs
Last updated: July 20, 2026
The General Settings page bundles three things: follow-up triggers, the links/codes the AI may send, and human hand-offs.
Follow-ups
Enable follow-up sequences by response type: after a Positive reply, when a lead is Engaged but Undecided, and after a Negative reply.
Follow-ups are designed for when the agent has a successful interaction but the person needs more engagement — for example, converting an undecided lead, or someone who had a positive interaction but didn’t purchase. You build the actual sequences later in the Follow-Ups step → Building Your Outreach Sequence & Follow-Up Sequences

For inbound support campaigns, follow-ups are oriented toward outbound offers — leave them at defaults unless you have a specific reason.
Sendable links & codes
Control what the AI may include in messages. Link shortening shortens URLs for SMS, Email, and WhatsApp so messages stay short and tappable — and it enables click tracking in Outcraft for statistical analysis.

For Abandoned Cart campaigns there are additional options here (cart links, static vs. dynamic links, UTM tags) → Recover Abandoned Cart Setup Guide
Hand-offs
Decide when the AI hands a conversation to a human — for example after a positive reply, when the lead asks, or on specific objections (pick from the list of available objections/situations).
Then choose the channels where the hand-off is sent:
Email: set the notification email and optional CC.
Slack: click Connect Slack Account, choose the workspace, and approve the permissions. Full walkthrough → Setting Up Slack Integration for Human Agent Handoffs
Hand-off Slack messages and emails include core lead information, the transcript, and the time.
