Using NextCommerce as a Lead Source

Choose the objective and the lead source

NextCommerce supports two objectives: Recover Abandoned Checkout and Upsell Post-Purchase.

  1. Create the campaign.

  2. On Choose Campaign Objective, select one of those two objectives.

  3. On Where Should This Campaign Get Leads From?, select NextCommerce.

  4. Press Continue.

Connect the store

  1. Open the Integrations step.

  2. Press Connect NextCommerce Store.

  3. Enter your store domain in Store Domain, for example mystore.29next.store.

  4. Submit the form.

  5. Approve the connection on the NextCommerce screen.

Your store domain is the only detail that you supply. Outcraft registers the webhooks in your store for you. You configure nothing inside NextCommerce.

Note: Check for the green Connected badge. Run the connect steps again if the badge does not appear. Outcraft shows no message when a connection fails.

Add the trigger to the campaign

  1. Open the NextCommerce step under Lead Source.

  2. Press Set Up NextCommerce on this campaign.

  3. Select Connect New Store Event.

  4. Enter a value in Dispatches limit, or leave the field empty for unlimited leads.

  5. Leave Cooldown (days) at the default value.

  6. Submit the form.

  7. Turn on Is Enabled in the table.

Note: A new trigger arrives switched off. The campaign receives no leads until you turn on Is Enabled.

Which orders Outcraft skips

  • An order with no phone number. A phone number is mandatory. Outcraft skips the order and creates no lead.

  • A test order. Outcraft skips every order that your store marks as a test.

  • An unpaid order. An Upsell Post-Purchase campaign starts only after your store reports the order as paid.

When the recovery outreach starts

NextCommerce marks a cart as abandoned 30 minutes after the last activity of the shopper. Outcraft adds no further delay to the first step of the sequence.

One store connects to one account

A NextCommerce store connects to one Outcraft account at a time. A connection of the same store to a second Outcraft account disconnects the store from this account.
